Sausage and 3 grains rice soup

What you need

  • [   ] 200g Riso Gallo 3 Grains
  • [   ] 100g Raw sausage meat
  • [   ] 1 Finely chopped medium onion
  • [   ] 1 small bunch basil finely chop 3 sticks of celery
  • [   ] 2 carrots
  • [   ] 1 leek
  • [   ] 1 diced potato
  • [   ] 1 clove of garlic
  • [   ] 1.5lt hot chicken or vegetable stock
  • [   ] 2tbsp. olive oil

How to prepare:

Sausage and 3 grains rice soup: in one pan break up the sausage meat and fry until cooked. Remove from heat and keep worm. Saute’ the finely chopped onion, celery, carrot, leek, potato and garlic in 1tbsp olive oil until softened.

 

Then add the rice and stir to coat well. Add all the stock, and cook for 18 minutes. Then add the sausage meat. Serve Sausage and 3 grains rice soup hot garnishing it with olive oil and basil.
