The Jasmine Rice, cultivated in the North of Thailand, is sometimes known as “Fragrant Rice” and is the most precious variety of the ancient Siam kingdom.

Its original Thai name “Hom Mali” means rice with a jasmine flavour. In fact, this variety of rice has a nutty aroma which is released especially when cooked.

With its long, tapered and fragrant grain, the Jasmine Rice is ideal for spicy oriental recipes or for meat- or fish-based dishes and enriches the meal with its exotic aroma.
