upcoming 7th National Rice Week in the UK

To mark the upcoming 7th National Rice Week in the UK Riso Gallo have organised two special cooks to celebrate the use of rice throughout a meal rather than just a splendid risotto. We’re in Scotland at Braehead on the 9th of September and down in Farringdon at the RAK headquarters on the 13th.

We’re championing exciting rice based desserts, tempting starters, wonderful main dishes and perhaps even some rice-based drinks!

We’ve put together a competition to support this and, alongside a package of rice, an apron, a wee surprise and a cookbook the winner will have their recipe showcased by our professional team during one of the cooks. So – we’d like you to create a recipe, and a pic if possible to show what you have in mind.

The competition is open now and closes on the 5th of September – the winner will be announced on the 6th at 4pm.
